Revolution of Civilizations: "The Line"

NEOM "The Line" is a part of the NEOM project, which is a planned cross-border city in the Tabuk Province of northwestern Saudi Arabia. "The Line" is a futuristic urban development within NEOM that aims to create a linear city that runs 170 kilometers in a straight line, without roads or cars.

The name "NEOM" is derived from two words: "neo," meaning new, and "m," the first letter of the Arabic word for future.

Planned futuristic city being built from scratch in the northwest region of Saudi Arabia. The city is expected to span an area of 26,500 square kilometers (10,230 square miles), making it bigger than the country of Belgium.

Is being designed as a "smart city" with advanced technology and infrastructure. The project's developers have stated that it will be powered entirely by renewable energy sources.

According to the NEOM website, "The Line" will be a place where "no journey will be longer than 20 minutes", allowing residents to have quick and easy access to all the city's amenities and services. The development will be powered entirely by renewable energy and will have a focus on sustainable living, with green spaces and a carbon-neutral footprint.

Instead, the city will rely on an ultra-high-speed transportation system, powered by clean energy, that will allow residents to travel from one end of the city to the other in under 20 minutes. The development will be designed around three key principles: sustainability, livability, and innovation.

NEOM is being marketed as a hub for innovation and entrepreneurship, with a focus on attracting businesses and startups from around the world. The city is expected to create thousands of new jobs and provide opportunities for Saudi Arabia's young and growing population.

"The Line" is part of a wider initiative by the Saudi Arabian government to diversify the country's economy and create new industries and job opportunities.
